I Joe. I think this needs a good edit. That said- it is very passionately wrought. Sometimes when reading a piece such as this, I wonder what is going through the authors mind, why the dissertation, what motivates the explosive combinations. I find it very interesting (since you linked MLK with John Lennon) that the right of the heart, of bravery comes to the forefront. It might be easily deterred by those with less imagination, but the dreams were never far from the minds of either of those personages. My favorite, “dialect of the future” what a fabulous image!

I think I get it but of course any submitted writing, especially poetry is subject to almost any interpretation. Je suis Charlie. The freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, the freedom of writing, and the freedom of thought are the most important freedoms mankind has ever had even if I or we do not agree with all that is expressed. That is the absolute beauty of it, it is both from God and from humanity. It allows us to come together and agree and it allows us to separate and disagree, but prayfully in peaceful and civilized ways (if possible).

Joe, the title has an urgency about it that whets my curiosity instantly. It is not the type of title one says—“oh, I’ll read ‘RIght Now’ later”. The short staccato lines are sort of urgent and to-the-point like the old teletype machines —short little blips with messages of importance. It is direct and dart-like until the soft and beautiful ending which re-funnels the whole tone—“the beautiful impossibility of love without a leash. I think a person will read this rapidly for the reasons stated above, and then go back and study the lines and let them slowly do their work. Very nice. Thanks for posting. Marcia
