Inspired Agreement Brighter are the eyes
who adore
shades of blue
in Autumn skies
Night is a tease
no longer
can the
leaves be seen
Trees seem to sleep
as their fallen bits
spread about
earth in early eve
Dusky Indigo, Cobalt;
slices to sheer Navy
entirely agree
‘tis now
to hold still
Hand wave the timer behind
at ease ever more in
visiting these seasonal outlines

I see beautiful colours in my mind's eyes upon reading this. Every shade of blue you described would look so beautiful together in a painting.

I feels like I read a Tom Thompson painting.Your words paint an early autumn scene that was so wonderful to walk through kicking up leaves as I go

Hi DeniMari...Good job on this beautiful Autumn honor poem. It's about to be over though, at least here, in West Virginia...it's getting cold. I dread the big snows. Hope we get spared some of that. Lovely colors you chose in praise of the leaves. Nicely done.
