Remember To Forget

You probably try to forget as much as I try to remember when the deed separated two hearts  Silencing a part  of a long past only we thought would last Can’t knock back a shot of whiskey or find anything else that would numb Might as well pack it all up to find my way back home  should I crawl,  should I walk  or should I run?

I enjoyed this immensely; both for the beauty of your penning and for your growth as a accomplished poet. Kudos, Lora

I was thinking the same thing as I hurried home with a poem in my pocket hoping to find it voice tonight. Should I crawl, should I walk, or should I run. Either way this is a brilliant write
