A Poem

I want to write you a poem Something soft and quiet gentle and still like a sleeping tiger holding a quill I want to show you  other worlds,so beautiful  that you might wander away  from the doubts of your own To show you a place where sun beams are ladders  And the winds provide saddles for those who would dare ride the wilds of her whims Where every flower  has perfect hearing Every stream, perfect pitch  Every dream, flawless steering A satisfying scratch for every itch

Some days are shit days and a poem like this just goes to show how much love and beauty there is in the world. To be cared for by someone who would see every escape route out of that sad moment .. to see through the nothingness, the saddles of the wind.. just like flying away on a magic carpet. And the ultimate satisfaction - a scratch for every itch.. You've captured it perfectly. You put a smile on my face today. Hope your Christmas was wonderful.

Writing, writing, writing My compunction is to examine when I might have met that satisfying scratch, the at necessity to awaken to the perfect pitch. A poem. So many downstream, so man waiting up stream. I think the vehicle waits the rower, nevertheless. “wilds of her whims” a stunning analogy- somewhere, in the inspiration of saddling the wind, the wind will laugh, as you propose, untamed, but by the acquiescence of the verse. Very inspiring Joe, very much so.
