Residue

The ever present residue of you that can't be scrubbed off keeps me hangin' on to life and all it has to offer I bathe in your silky pollen and feel instantly the caress of your hot breath upon my skin just by closing my eyes... I breathe in the clingy leftover scent of you turning my milky skin to a glowing pink covering me in a damp  sheen of sweat with just a thought- a flicker of memory- without need of a touch or a kiss... just the constant enveloping residue of you
