No Stranger Part II

As my friend, you are No Stranger.  But in  My Love for you, A stranger You have become.  When I Think of you, smiling, I Dream of what could become. You seem so scared of just A kiss; a kiss on the lips.  I think of how sweet it would Feel.  Your hugs are the  Warmest I know.  To cuddle You with that same beautiful Body and loving heart is  What I desire.  Now, I  Know it is not safe to Want to be with you Every second, And I  Cherish every minute Spent With you.  Now I want to  Romanticize the hours.   You told me once a heartbreaker I would become, maybe the  Irony is too strong. So much we already know Of one another, but so much More, we could learn. The best friendships are those Where love is unconditional, And the best relationships are Those based on friendship. We are half way there, so what Is there to be afraid of? Are Our ages really that different? Maybe it is something else that Is frightening?  I believe we  Want the same from some other,  So why not make it one another? If I asked you to be mine: Would you become A stranger?  Or would NO STRANGER you remain?
