SPLENDOR AT DAWN

The pleasure I experience walking at dawn defines the texture of my day. In these quite, early morning moments I am in perfect hamony with God and nature. A glimmer of sun appears on the far horizon dew drenched grass gleams in muted light. Early morning haze begins to fade-slowly giving way to faintest blue. Twin birds dressed in red vests and coats of gray take flight as footsteps approach. A busy squirrel gathering food, abandons the task and swiftly scampers up a tree. Warm breezes send leaves swaying while rosebuds nod, stretch, and lazily open. The raucous caw of a crow sounds not a discordant note, but a low-voiced good morning to its mate. Breathing in clean, unsullied air I marvel at dawn's splendor.
