Fallen Morning

The sun was rising this morning when I fell Darkness came over me and cast its spell I have not lived and cannot love There is a door that is closed Keeping all those outside far away I hold out my arms to try and feel I grope around in the darkness where I am lost There is no other person present here I am all alone and now filled with fear I grab at anything symbolizing foundation Something to follow to a disappearing light The light narrows to a point inside itself The distinction is lost from wrong and right Now I only think of peace in death The sun was rising this morning when I fell Now I find myself in the pit of hell
