What Goes Around

I’ll tell you a secret,  Dear Ladies and Gents,  there’s more in this bucket than dollars and cents. There’s food for the hungry and sight for the blind,  there’s hope  for the wicked and thought for the mind. This magic elixir will cure all your ills,  much better than liquor or vitamin pills. Come one and come all!  I’ll explain the allure of this wondrous invention, this fabulous cure! So quiet your children and lend me your ears. I’ll answer your questions and calm all your fears. You’re getting quite sleepy,  you must close your eyes. Now try to imagine this awesome surprise. It’s really quite simple, a bend of your arm, insert hands in pockets,  you’ll feel very warm! Now wiggle your fingers and locate the coins. You feel the pain leaving, there’s life in your loins. The next step is easy, create a tight fist, then pull it straight out and give it a twist. Your thumb is still hiding, just try to un-tuck it, But hold on a minute, while I grab this here bucket. Your digits are loosening, you open your hand, drop coins in container, (works JUST like I planned!) The magic has happened, the miracle’s here! I’ve healed all your ailments, prognosis is clear! One more little secret, Dear Ladies and Gents,  as I sneak out of town with your compliments. I know that I tricked you and that’s my transgression, but I’d like to make just one final confession. I'll probably harvest the sorrow I’ve sown and have to repay all this debt on my own. Someday I will learn that we reap what we sow. There'll be nothing but dross when I find a rainbow.
