Survivor Shaking, shivering, trying to catch her breath Feeling the thunder pounding in her chest Screaming from terror, drenched in sweat Awaked from a nightmare, desperate to forget. Battle cries from a wounded soldier Bravely facing her monstrous fears Just needing someone to hold her This war has been raging for years. Intense hatred has brought her to this place She is imprisoned, with no hope for escape The lines are battle scars written on her face Beauty corroded, hope gone, her life's a waste. |
