Return When the whispering winds blow gently from the north Bringing with them the scent of jasmine and lilac. When the sun slowly drifts from sight in the western sky Glowing with prismatic colors that flavor your senses Gaze into the heavens just left of the north star Beyond the wonders of the universe into galaxies unknown Reach high and touch what is there to feel Devotion, love, passion and promises to return Fear not the path that must be taken Walk standing tall for I am with you always I am the wind, the stars, the air you breath My nucleus is buried deep within your soul Distance will never hinder my return When the time is right westward I'll sail I will drift with the wind and fly with the doves Sealing the promises made from our love The time has come for me to set sail Awaiting the call for the winds to return Eastward I travel a week from today Return will I when you give me the day So let me part with the words that must be said Like the wind and sea and the heavens above My love for you is eternally made and sealed Till my call from you to return I bid you ado |
