How can I put my feelings  down on paper with a pen  And make you understand  the way I felt back then  How can so few phrases  explain feelings of my heart  So you can sense the aching  in the times when we're apart  How can you hear the tone  of my voice as I softly speak  Know what I am longing for  if I'm strong or if I'm weak  How can you share emotions  if words are all you can see  A world of only black and white  in letters sent to you from me  How can you feel my touch  as I reach out a hand to you  And give in to denied feelings  in your heart,you know are true
