Gods or Not Mankind's ever felt the need to offer his contritions to deities that proved to be just whimful superstition for prehistoric man bowed down before the God of Night and prayed yet to ANOTHER god who brought the morning light. Through ignorance he thought that raindrops falling from the sky were manifested by a god who felt the need to cry and lightning bolts were products of a great god's wrathful ire a deity that suitably became the God of Fire. Now modern man looks back upon these ancient gods as funny yet be HE wiser...worshipping his paper God of Money for most of man believes in BUT this mighty god of wealth until, of course, he finds himself in desperate failing health. for health he's found is ONE thing God of Money can't provide so just to cover all his bets... & just before he dies.. he calls upon the Christian God to save his mortal soul before the Bell of Death begins to sound its final toll. Do deities exist then but from ignorance & fright or TRULY here to teach mankind the truth of wrong & right these questions have been asked before..& ever more will be until the end of time or what we call eternity. But if these questions you had posed to humble, sinful me I'd have to say without a doubt. I'm sure a God there be another QUESTION gives to me the ANSWER that I thirst the question of the hen & egg & which of them came first. For if the EGG came first, then tell me wherefore came this egg without a HEN I don't see how this egg was ever layed. And since we know all hens begin from eggs. I fail to grasp how hens could form without an egg....if egg indeed came last !! The only way I can resolve this question in MY mind.. (because with logic & resource no answer do I find...) I leave the answer to a higher power than mortal man and blindly trust our Master like the ever-trustful lamb. For there are many MORE unanswered questions to be raised and though man seeks the answers to his God's eternal maze he must soon realize there's things he'll never understand and should put trust & mortal soul in God's all-knowing hand. |
