Dance with me

The bell tolled the midnight hour A dismal eerie sound. The fog crept in hues of gray Across the hallowed ground. The night bird sang her lonely song To echoes in the night As the moon in all her glory Beamed her smile, a silvery light. And there hummed I, a little tune. And there danced I, and danced alone. Twirling, spinning in lively step; Amidst the rows of cold gravestones; Before the doors of mournful tombs; About the deeply rooted trees, As Autumn cast her chilling breath In whispers of a breeze. "Come dance with me..." Copyright ©1994 all rights reserved
