Making a Difference

Difference is and always was Somehow different just because Perception gives a broader view Than a passing thought would ever do Difference has to stand alone Building courage of its own While similarities cluster 'round To criticize the difference found Difference holds a great attraction For those who seek the satisfaction Of breaking free from all routine For then the difference can be seen  Difference overcomes the fear Of being odd or strange or queer Longing for the chance you take To be the difference you can make
