The Eagle

I watch with unequalled envy That white head soaring Those wings stretched to catch Currents that would bear him up Turning now turning Looking now looking Soaring now soaring Flowing as poured forth On flattened plane Then I write I too must soar My mind borne up by glimpse Of perfection that God  Had placed before my eyes When I looked up He was gone But I know He'll Come Again!
