Memory

"Hello again old friend  Have you come to reminisce? Time has fluttered so swiftly by  Like the fleeting life of the Butterfly. Seasons, moons and years have passed Until here we arrive at last." We sat and talked a while Of yesterdays and tomorrow days And when there were no more words The tears came faster than a smile. “Old friend, we have reminisced of  Times and tears gone by Only to remind me what I do not possess.” “Oh no.” Memory replied  Wiping the tears from my eyes. “I have only reminded you why You must treasure each and every day. To reach out and grasp the ones you love And tell them in many ways. To look for rainbows instead of clouds To have joy and laugh out loud. All in all dear friend,  I have reminded you how, to live”
