Amarillo Grass

It had such promise That blade bent as if Bowing to it's creator It's promised color now faded. From the womb The cocoon that split And air and sun first time felt Friends in the beginning Now unrelenting enemys In duo-chorus change Flesh that once Clawed the earth It's now essence Released Blowing In the wind.
