IT’S BEEN A WHILE

It’s been a while since I’ve sat and wrote. It’s like waiting forever to clear my throat, but I know the gift, I have to give, will be in a book, to forever live, in a library, or in a bookstore;  I hope they never, give an ounce of bore, but instead, put a smile on your face, and your anger, you will never trace, while you read, another page; I’ll take you to, another stage, or point, in time, in your life; the words cut through, just like a knife, so sharp and true, to forever keep; you won’t even need, to get any sleep. You’ll feel so happy and wonderful, because the words, will be so cool; the way they rhyme, and still make sense, they’ll relax you, and make you feel less tense. This I hope, is what they will do, stir inside your head, just like some stew; simmering and cooking, inside your brain, helping you, to face life, and maintain. If they do, all I ask from you, is share what you’ve felt, and tell someone new?
