A Star is Born

God gently cups the angel's face  deciding this is what they need  A tiny miracle to remind them  what can grow from a single seed  When they hear of his creation  a wonderful dream will come true  But when that joy is sadly taken  there will be nothing they can do  His days will not count many  But his love will forever be  Inner strength and love realized  binding them like sand and sea  God called back to his heavens  this tiny soul so pure and weak  Standing before him arms outstretched  Bestowing the eternal love he seeks  They mourn this heartbreaking loss  a child their eyes will never see  God has not left them empty handed  but given a glimpse of what can be  This tiny miracle conceived in true love  now walks hand and hand into the light  And as they kneel in praise to God  a star is born, in heaven's sky tonight
