A Revelation Lay Wasted

Move a little closer, you can't yet feel the shame. Here move into my shadow, now just call out my name. I'm waiting for the miracle, I'm searching for a cause. I'm reaching for redemption, and wishing on the stars. I've made my mark unknown, I've yet to find my soul. I'm wandering this labyrinth, dredging my way home. My angels have abandoned, my devil's come to play. The gods have given sentence, and now I'm left to pray. Upon the broken altar, blessed by greedy priests. One ballad for the heroes, two tears for the deceased. Who move a little closer, to where it all began. Well now I'm here to falter, so please Lord take my hand.
