War

The death of the night surrounds me The wicked sounds of the tree's scare me Though I look out my window and all I can see Is the remains of this world Dying before me. I do not know how to stop The way the world is going For every night I lay in bed I hear the sound of screaming. All the wars of the world Have killed so many Believing in their hearts That their loved ones would be plenty. Yet if only you could see My tear drops falling silently In memory of all of those Who are now gone.

Additional Notes:
For my father. This is his view and personal experince of the war he faught so hard win and learned in the end that the loss was greater then the victory.
