The Mind's Eye The minds eye Never sleeps. Guarding and watching, Alertness it ever keeps. It sees the pain Before you do. Knows the fear, Early too. The future is at Its command. Always falling, Like grains of sand, Through the hourglass It will flow. Bringing new pain, For you to know. Be not mistaken, For its not your friend. It lives to determine Your destruction in the end. At that time, It will continue to strive. The question being-- Will you survive? |
