Master of Illusion

Traveling and searching through the mazes of inadequacies, The bitterness of being only too belligerent to realize the cost; As yet not understanding the saddness caused, for the expenses of others insecurities. The shallow minded individual only to narcissistic to comprehend, Mistaking that moving farther from the underlying motive; Like the master of illusions, Shall forgo the finality of the end. Insecurities are like a weapon that this fool can arm, Aiming anonymously and accurately all in the same moment; Talking no heed in the second that it propels; And thus causing pain and harm. Truly oblvious to the truth as plain as white satin, Believing that the breath in which is breathed; Is only the demands of others, And not such from self to take heed. Striving to obtain the unobtainable, And yet unlike a child, critical and analytical; Places underlying blame in all that come in the way, Masking true feelings of depth that never should be protrayed. Continuing to push away any obstacle that obscures, The fight in which there is no winner; The goal in which there is no finality, Only the loss of living is the valiant victor. As the sword swiftly cuts from high above; The eager minded victims fall, The victims filled with false hope, for they were fortified by deceptive love. And as travels through this endless maze cease to exist, Realization of a false reality of life lived, There comes a voice of fear for death; for what was maintained was safe and secure but not alive. And as the illusion begins to recede, Regret mingles with a hollowness, For in the end it is the illusion, That has mastered and conquered the life.
