Vault Of Dark Secrets

I looked deep within myself to the place that very few know, behind all of the memories, and the good, to the place that no one goes. Behind the good and happy thoughts, and past the hopes and dreams, deep into the dark shadows to the place where no light gleams. To the place where all hope dies, and nothing is good or fair, to the place weighed heavy with remorse and laden with despair. Passing through the barrier to where no one was meant to be,  leaving behind all hope and joy, and sense of reality. I hungrily go deeper into this my curious soul, down into its deepest crevices where no light has glowed. Will this journey yield me fruit?  A voyage that the curious must take, Or is a voyage into the dark a preventable mistake? I can not answer this for others, but as for me I am a better man. I have faced my darkest shadows, and can now take my future in hand. Everyone has a darkened place deep within their souls, a place where we keep our dark secrets, and where our dark deeds go.
