Dance Of The Dust Fairies

Happily dancing in and out of the sun beams, Teasingly taunting me so it seems. Into the sun to dance on a cushion of air, Delicately floating into the shadows to disappear. Waiting for the sun to take their flight, To bounce and dance with careless delight. Forward and backward, up and down, Spinning and flipping like little clowns. I watch their brilliant dance before they go, I cannot help but to marvel at their spectacular show. The clouds drift in, begrudging them of sun, I am left with a heavy heart, their dance is done. They dance away, to where I do not know, But with the suns return there will come another show. It's late in the evening, maybe another time, They will dance again tomorrow if the sun will only shine.
