The Piece of Silver

He walked in the land of magic and saw the piece of silver shimmering in the sunlight. As he picked it up, waves of iciness  trembled through his body, reaching the deep depths of his soul. The silver was as icy as it was beautiful and caused blisters to form on his hand, yet he could not let go. The iciness spread through his body until he became a frozen statue holding a shiny piece of silver in his hand.
