Orison

When the day is dark and it's raining outside I often wonder if God has cried. And as I look up slow with my eyes closed Could I drown in the tears falling silent below? Spinning til dizziness buckles my knees  I drop to the earth with eyes open to see Beyond the storm through the vastness of space  For a moment a glimpse of His beautiful face. I rise from the pool uplifted and whole Complete without innocence once held in my soul. Now is the time to not question my eyes When the day is dark and it's raining outside. Still - I wonder if God has cried.
