"GEORGE"

I sit and think of the day's gone by, I can alway's wipe a tear from my eye. To remember what WAS and what IS now, just makes me sad, I had lost my pal. You ran your heart out, chasing that ball, it was a wonder that you didn't fall. Given the year's that had taken place, with grayish white that had come to your face. But you gave it your all, right until the end, chasing that ball all over the place. There will be a day when we meet again, I wonder if it will be the same, as it was then. I close my eyes and I see your face, your eyes of blue, and your smiling grin, Oh how unbearable it has been. But I will go on until the day that we meet, and you can once again lay at my feet. For you are ever my pal and I am your's, there will be no other, like my dog "GEORGE".
