A Great Mom - Revised My stepmom, Mom Mina, died today. I can’t believe it! The doctors said that she was Anemic and changed her blood two times. They decided that this activated her cancer cells and this week she had Leukemia, the kind that moves through the body quickly. It only took three days for her to leave us and go to heaven. She was a mom to six kids and five stepkids. She was loved and had enough love for all. She was so happy, she always smiled and laughed. She was there for all. She was married to my dad for twenty-five years! They had a mutual love and respect for each other. I was so blessed to have known her. She accepted me and loved me, and I loved my Mom Mina. She is now God’s Angel and I can see her loving her Angel friends and sharing her unique love. She asked asked Jesus to take care of Dad and all her kids. She will miss us and yet she is happy. I know she is speaking to my mom, Anne, and comparing notes. Sharing love and experiences with each other. There is Grandma Petrossi, Grandma and Grandpa Angaran, Aunt Mary, and my grandson Johnny. Hey look, there comes Tony Rossi, Aunt Del and Uncle Regie Miller, walking towards our family of angels. They are all gathering around my Mom Mina welcoming her to heaven. Thank God that Mom Mina had asked Jesus to be in her heart. I love you, Mom Mina and I miss you! I know you are beside me, holding me as you whisper in my ear. You asked me to tell all of your family to take care of and love each other for you. Mom Mina, you were so good to me, thank you for being part of our family. Thank you for caring for my dad and being “A Great Mom”. |
