The Camping Trip

The dancing flame of the fire is bright, casting shadows in the night, sending a greeting of warmth and cheer, to all those who are gathered near. Roast marshmallows and then sing a song, sit down, eat and sing along. With apprehension you wait to see, the ending of that scary story. The embers glow with warmth and feeling, night time falls, light congealing, eyelids grow heavy, the Hoot Owl calls, safe with friends in this house without walls. The horizon awakes with the morning jewel, and morning breaks deliciously cool, bacon is frying and the coffee is made, the aroma revives you while the days plans are laid. Fishing is done the gear packed away, everyone gathers at the end of their stay, get in the car, the camping trip done, ride home in the warmth of memories and sun.
