Sergeant its no good you telling me to charge when you think l should You have forget that l saw my fellows  lying dead in the mud. Sergeant its not use you saying, solder that is an order You see l am at the edge of my own personal boarder. Sergeant its no-good you telling me  l will be court marshalled if l don’t obey. You see l am already a victor  l have lived more than a day You think that l am a coward Think what you dam well like because to my conscious l stand in the right and l have blooded hands and a heavy heart because sergeant l am l sick and tied of this bloody war this is not the reason why we are living for.  Sergeant its no good you telling me to charge  when you think l should You have forget that l saw my fellows lying dead in the mud.
