I believed in a life   where I could reach for the stars,  accomplishing each and every goal I had set for myself. I could make a difference,      if only in a small way. I believed that happiness          would be mine,   knowing I had much  to offer this world. I was willing to accept      the challenges of life   and all the rewards it brings. I believed in people,           kind and honest,    loving and sincere,  believing many capable of both           giving and receiving    the gift of friendship. I believed in  the beauty              that surrounds us,      not to be taken for granted,   but admired and enjoyed by all. I believed in the children,           innocent and carefree,    the most honest among us. I believed in life,       savoring each day     given to me,   using all resources available,              not sitting idly       as the world passes by. I believed in achieving my dreams          and.... I still believe.
