"I'll Sing A Lullaby..."

I'll sing a lullaby... and weep with empty arms. They could not keep your soul from sleep when heaven called. I'll sing a lullaby... and weep through endless nights. With longing, seek for God to speak and asnwer, "Why?" I'll sing a lullaby... and weep with broken heart. How can I greet the dawn when sleep has never come? I'll sing a lullaby... but reap no harvest here. My tender wheat was cut to keep in higher spheres. I'll sing a lullaby... your cheek, a memory that I will keep with love. How fleet mortality! I'll sing a lullaby... to keep my promise, child, that we will meet again... and greet eternity!
