To You I Give...

Touch me softly, gently, hold my heart with care. This fragile jewel I’ve given you has been broken, and repaired. The diamond of my soul was shattered on the ground, crystal dust flew in the air as limpid tears flowed down The jagged pieces of this stone that was a heart, living love were fractured by a careless hand… an indifferent soul, a painful dance. Time was the tool that showed my jewel how to shine again. God is the glue that holds my heart, intact, and teaches sacrifice, again. So this I give to you I offer up myself, my fears.. I lay them at your feet. Trust transforms what was once dirty, broken glass into an exquisite, shining, living crystal to be placed into your loving hand
