No Music In Town Tonite

Whadcha say? I'm not sure that I heard you right. Did you say there ain't no music in town tonite? Why down at "Molly's" theres a rapper DJ.  "Farmer Flats Grille" has karioke. Theres a tuxedo band at that Holiday Inn. Theres sports on five big screens at "Joe's Sports Den." Could it be, there ain't no music in town tonite? Gotta get into the city, sit in all that traffic, There the search begins for an artist maverick. Jazz is there and alternative too, methodical reggae and a country western zoo. The philharmonic is suave and smooth, plenty of hot spots to find yourself a groove. I can't believe there ain't no music in town tonight. So I went to the nite-club there was rock and roll all right, Wailin' and a flailin' and flashin' lights. Smoke was risin' from the pounding floor, strobes were swirling, I couldn't find the door. The bands lead singer wore a NY hat, I pulled back my cover charge and left the flat. Guess you're right there ain't no music in town tonite. So I cruised back toward home feelin' kinda dejected, turned south onto Garret then east on McDevitt. Got caught by the red light at 1st and Lloyd. The radio played played nothin' but Back Street Boys…. You know you're right, there ain't no music in town tonight.

Additional Notes:
Slang spellings, Proper names of establishments are fictitious as expressed by author and any establihments bearing those names are by coincidence only. Please keep in mind that these are actually lyrics to my original song which hopefully will be out on MP3 soon. It is a play on words and really is saying there is plenty of music out there in fact so much so that it is ironically frustrating to have so much choice. It also says there is plenty that you may not like. Well, have fun with it and enjoy.
