Foot Loose, I'm Just Free

The greatest lesson I have learned while my feet are upon this earth; Shod your feet. Walk through the day with your shoes on. Don't plan your path as you approach it. Don't keep your sights far ahead. Watch as you go strolling  over lands where angels tread. And once in awhile, rub your toes in the wet, green grass. Lay your intentions on the table. Keep your money on the shelf. Put a guard around your homestead and always, always look after your self. And once in a while, walk a mile, in somebody else's shoes. Trust everyone except a thief. Hear your words come back to you. Remember talk is never cheap and cupid has wings for a reason. Save your money for boots; at times your bound to need them. Honor those above you. Lift up those who aren't. Humble yourself for an elder. As a mentor; offer your support. Carry a big umbrella; dry the eyes of many friends. Keep clean the path behind you so that the seeds you plant will grow. Sprinkle words like water but don't tell everything you know. Life is a journey. Change your shoes often.

if at first you don't succeed, how many times again?
