SWAMPLAND OF THE MIND Deep within the land of the subconscious, buried beneath the domain of intellect, lies a murky marsh of muddled thoughts… melted ideas…a muddy mire of the mind… It is a bog of memories both recent and past…good and bad… where pleasant remembrances swiftly sink below surface fears and nightmares to the sinkhole of phobias…neuroses… Occasionally a straying notion… a creeping concept will struggle forth in an attempt to free itself from the ooze… It is a venture that is sometimes successful…often fatal… And so the cycle continues almost an eternity… unholy tombs of self-destruction…sedimentary layers of guilt… deposits of unfulfilled ambitions and dreams all rotting… all clustered close inside the swampland of the mind…
