To Love An Angel

An Angel was sent to me not so long ago. He was sent to guide me, to help me learn and grow. He was patient, understanding, so caring and kind He grew very fond to me, in my heart as well as my mind. He taught me of the many things that I never quite knew To look inside of myself and understand why I do what I do. He taught me to listen and really hear what is said. He made feelings come alive that I thought were long dead. He caught me when I fell and told me that I'd be fine. He was understanding and kind, even when I was out of line. He taught me true friendship, and of love, in a way. I fell in love with this Angel.  What more can I say? I didn't want to believe it, but it's true, without a doubt. But one can not be in love with an Angel, as I soon found out. We decided it best to part company, this Angel and I. I guess it's time for me to fly solo, or at least to try. I miss the Angel very much, so deep within my heart. The loss of his presence in my life tears me apart. I just wonder if this Angel has the ability to see What an impact he's made on my life, and also on me. I'll remember him always and smile when I do. I'll remember our good times and all the laughter too. I hope somehow I touched the Angel, as he did me. I wish him happiness always, wherever he may be.
