XXXX Oh we'll all go together When they drop the bomb on us, and we'll all go together, and you'll all be one of us. Oh we'll all go together On that heavenly bus. On that heavenly bus. It doesn't really matter where you're at, Because we're all not protected When the madman rains down on us. And we'll all go together On that heavenly bus. The whole world is in turmoil, From the chill of Dunblane, The starkness of the Montreal massacre, To the raving of Tasmania. When they drop the bomb on us, We'll all go together on that heavenly bus. We don't know the hour, and we sit in church and pray, from the deliverance of evil That will rain down on us. So! Why all the fuss? 'Cause we'll all go together on that heavinly bus. It really doesn't matter, Where we really are, It's a mind set whether we're near or far. We can be almost anywhere, When the madman comes for us, And then it really doesn't matter 'Cause we'll all go together on that heavenly bus, On that heavenly bus. |
Additional Notes:
Written in one of my more laconic moments a few years ago. There was lots
of little wars, with little factions out of control, and killing thousands, '
if not millions while the world did nothing.
I have a tune in my head for this. I only wish that someone like Joan Baez
would write the melody. Or maybe Bobby Dylan?
