Bathed In Tears

               You said it was over,         I thought it was untrue.        Never did I expect this,         not from someone like you.        Thinking of how close we were,         and all the fun we had.        To have all these memories,         makes life now seem so sad.        I Loved you very much,         and yet, I still do.        Having good and bad times,         we always made it through.        Now I know what love is,         I don't want to feel it again.        For noone else will I cry,         he will only be a friend.        So now here I lay,         thinking of these past years.        How do I get you off my mind,         lying here bathed in tears?
