Lost Along the Way I travelled through my mind to see If I could find a memory That I had lost, along the way. A place where shadows shift and sway, But once the need to know arose, It interferred with my repose. I sifted through the piles and there Were many treasures stored with care. I found a pool of crystal tears That I had cried down through the years And floating on it, like a boat, A castle, so they made a moat And in a window, I could see, The naive girl I used to be. |
