Spring Fresh

Winter's cold retreats with a rush Spring's warm wind has rescued us. Grass greens and flowers sprout, sun glows golden as it comes out. Snow melts, streams crest without flood; the weather's perfect, trees begin to bud. Winter's cold has now been scorned, for Spring has come and now is born. Though I enjoyed winter, its time is passed; Spring in its full glory is here at last. It is time to sow the fertile land, rich black soil upon our hands. The Winter days have now passed us by in Spring's fresh days our pleasure lies. The sky has lost its grayish haze, children play in Spring's fun days. Tossing frizbies in the sky, riding bikes and running by. Jumping, climbing in the trees, rolling, falling, scraping knees. Every season is a precious thing, but children love the season Spring.
