We Are Our Dreams

The wind began to speak in riddles whipped beneath the languished pine An ancient chorus of a trillion voices united Reverberated  my cell These unseen forces carried my thoughts away from this self imposed bondage And I soared with them above this cellular stew  I left the dull ache of my stretched skin behind Allowing it to slip between the ripples of the lake In a fiery illumination  unseen by human eyes I created the colors of a sunset My horizon was illuminated And I became my dream
