Earth Song The trees are whispering of love, they sing And sway in mystic union with the air Branches sweet entwined, the forest rings With Nature’s joy and love for all that’s shared. A prism of delight through which love blends The earth reflects the song up to the moon To add a minor tone to Earth song’s end The sorrows blend in, strengthening life’s tune. A dainty taste of Love’s song tempts the stars Into attention, sings them joy and hope Our love so true it breaks old ancient bars And set free all of Time from Structure’s scope. How fortunate are lovers as they lie Within love’s bosom seeing with heart’s eye. |
