Dear Friend

Couldn't you see me? You looked in my eyes. Were you blinded by life with her glorious lies? Couldn't you feel me? I was no longer whole. Darkness crept in and captured my soul. Couldn't you hear me? I spoke so plain. Lost lonely words of sorrow and pain. Wasn't it obviously clear to see, death had become my fantasy? I tried to holler I tried to scream, yet silence echoed or so it seemed. Lost in your world of misleading deception, dreaming some day I'd return your affection. I am told I'm a sinner and Hell is a must, but Lord take my hand it is you whom I trust. Please don't be sad we will meet again. Look to the rainbow I'll be there my friend. Please don't cry, we will meet again. Look to the rainbow I'll be there waiting my friend.
