Death of a Spouse Your scent on the pillow brought you back to me Then images of the morphine drip frighten me to reality I dream of your cuddle, embrace I curse god, why were you taken So few years I wanted more Why didn’t you go at once What lingering What great pain How do the pieces fit together I must now wait And let time do it’s magic Some day we will be together again |
