Illusions

She walks with poise Her head held high  Cushioned in the clouds of her mind A bunch of long stem crimson roses Nestled in the crescent of her arms Stiletto heels dress her feet A black leather jacket hugs her body Not one hair is out of place Her lips colored shades of pink She knows everyone is watching her Men want to know her Women want to be her And all the while she is thinking “I can’t wait to get out of these shoes”
