Acceptance

Longing for the mountains Wanting to go home To where the air is sweet and pure and bear and deer still roam The wind still cries out freedom Streams run cold and clear Pine trees gift aroma that to my soul is dear I;m stuck here in the city No forests in my sight Wishing for a new life  for this one is not right Gladly would I give up All that I do own  Just to roam the mountains that are to me, my home        When I did get married  I took vows to be as one So I am committed   and I know I can not run  Although I sound unhappy  that feeling is untrue For I will carry nature  in everything I do The thunder of a rain storm The wind that whips my face The rising of a brand new sun tells me, I;m in nature space And so shall I accept  all that comes my way For nature is forever and tomorrows a new day
