Family

Family roots remain buried  curiosity nags to uncover the truth the seeds of my birth, my absent father, sibling connections, my own grandmother. Seeking acceptance from the extended family oblivious to this moral tragedy Hoping it’s me that they will see instead of the illegitimate child he’s made me. Ambiguity speaks a sarcastic tone resentment resides beneath this confusion   abandoned at birth, you made the choice shame promulgates ignorance, a bastard is born.
